St. Catherine University
Bachelor of Arts Degree - Interpreting
At the heart of St. Catherine University, the School of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences centrally locates the humanities, arts and sciences disciplines as essential not only for majors in those fields but for all students. The School represents a direct continuation of the original mission and vision for the College – to educate women to lead and influence by providing a liberal arts education guided by the principles of our Catholic identity. This education commits us to rigorous intellectual inquiry, social justice teaching, ethical character and agency development, and the valuing of aesthetic experiences. It is the three elements of our mission – Women, Catholic and Liberal Arts – that make a St Catherine education both powerful and unique. These three elements are at the very foundation of the School of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences.
